Tackle and Techniques
|
|
Use light- to medium-weight tackle and 6- to 10-pound-test line.
Live baits such as worms, frogs, and crayfish work well.
Try spinners or buzzbaits on the surface, plastic worms on the bottom.
The best action is on light tackle unless pursued in heavily vegetated areas, in which case
heavier tackle and line should be used.
